Documentary Director/Producer

Education:

2004: Graduated from Northwest Normal University with a major in Radio and Television Directing.

2009: Earned a Master's degree in Film Science and Art from Université Gustave Eiffel (University of Marne-la-Vallée), France.

Professional Experience:

From 2009 to 2011, worked at the Zhejiang Television France Bureau and Phoenix Television Europe France Bureau, producing over 20 feature documentaries.

From 2012 to 2014, represented the Chinese community in France at three consecutive Chinese New Year receptions hosted by the President. During this period, I was invited by domestic media to cover events such as the Cannes Film Festival, Berlin Film Festival, Paris Fashion Week, and Milan Fashion Week. Participated in the Sunny Side of the Doc festival multiple times, establishing connections and collaborations with international producers.

Returned to China in 2016 to participate in the creation and planning of various documentaries, including cultural history, social realism, and nature genres. Worked as a co-producer with a French production team to tell Chinese stories. Invited by the School of Innovative Design and Industries at Shantou University to serve as an enterprise lecturer and conduct documentary workshop courses.

Directing & Producing Credits:

2016-2017: Director of the 3-part documentary "The Bronze Empire on Horseback" for CCTV 9.

2017-2018: Director of the 4-part documentary "Dao Di Chen Pi" for CCTV 7.

2018-2019: Producer of the 3-part documentary "The Mysterious Grassland Grottoes," which won the Inner Mongolia Five-One Project Award for CCTV 9.

2018-2020: Producer of the 3-part documentary "The Westward Migration of Genghis Khan's Coffin" for CCTV 9.

2019-2021: Producer and Director of the 7-part documentary "The Yellow River Flows Through the Grasslands" for CGTN.

2020-2021: Director of the 5-part documentary "Jasmine Blossoms" for CCTV 9.

2022: Co-producer of the 2-part documentary "The Four Seasons of the Panda Family" for TF1 Groupe, France.

2022-2023: Executive Director of the 2-part documentary "Remembering Hometown" (International Version), Season 4, for Discovery Channel.

2023-2024: Executive Director and Producer of the documentary "Hong Kong - The Birth of Art" (currently in production).

2023: Co-producer of the documentary "Dancing Me."

2023-2024: Executive Director of the documentary film "Thousand Years legend of Mogao," produced by the Dunhuang Research Institute (currently in production).
