The documentary Dunhuang uncovers the 1600-year history of Dunhuang area. The documentary which cost director Zhou three years to film has a lot of exclusive footage. Through the TV media, the Dunhuang Research Academy displays to the world more than 60 precious grottoes of great historical significance and aesthetic values which had never been open to public before.
